Calling All Artists! Get Involved with BBC Two Programme ‘Show Me The Monet’

Today, we bring you news of a brand new series of the popular BBC Two programme Show Me The Monet. The first series was transmitted back in May this year to great success and now, it is your chance to get involved!

As before, their Hanging Committee of three experts is looking for great, original art – paintings, drawings, photography, prints, sculpture, textile art (as hangings not textile design or fashion) – to put into their prestigious exhibition in London. Here, members of the public together with the great and the good of the art world can view and buy the work that is on display!

“We are looking for both amateur and professional artists from across the nation to apply so why not get involved!”

Applications are to be made online at our website and will open during the week of Monday 12th December 2011 and will close at midnight on Sunday 8th January or when the 3,000 application limit is reached!

I think Show Me The Monet is a fab way to get exposure for upcoming artists. I didn’t get in last year, but they did show a fleeting glance of my painting ^ (pictured above) in episode 7. Fingers crossed this year.
